Culture is many things and includes values,
traditions, language, norms, beliefs, art and
habits that are passed down from generation to generation. And within art it is: literature, music, theatre, visual arts and film.
And all of this is displayed in, for example,
museums, galleries, venues, etc.
But the part that includes values, traditions, language and norms – what we have
learned, are raised with, but which is constantly changing due to society, technology
and contact with other cultures and which
provides identity and understanding - it can
be both visible and invisible.
With us, it’s history in several museums,
about the Viking Age, through war memorials, military history, aircraft, nature, furniture,
forms of living expressed on canvas or ceramics or all kinds of music and singing. And the
locals’ desire and opportunity to show and tell
and use their skills in everything from crafts
to yoga, guided tours in nature or at some of
the historical places or cities. The experiences
are ready - you just have to start.
