Today, Henne Strand is a well-functioning
commercial town with many guests – most
in the summer – and restaurants in all price
ranges. With a large car park just behind
the dunes, it is easy to get to the beach and
here is also one of the more spectacular rare
restaurants - located with an absolutely fantastic view of the North Sea. Actually, Henne
has really iconic restaurants: of course, with
Henne Kirkeby Kro on the top shelf with 2
Michelin stars – Henne Mølleå Kro where Poul
Henningsen (Danish author, lamp designer, architect) in the 30s was encouraged to build a
hotel in the dunes and Cafe Stranden with the
aforementioned fabulous views. In addition,
there are now cafes, bakeries, restaurants and
the newest Brasserie Hav in connection with
the campsite in the middle of the town - in a
really high class.

Many events ranging from Yoga on the beach,
walks in the surrounding area, torchlight
procession at Halloween . A lot is happening in
the relatively small town. And of course, again
plenty of space by the sea.
