Jyllands Park Zoo s. 22
The church is not old – from 1914 – but it is
one of the only churches in Denmark that
had to expand in 2010. It has 390 seats
and a special altar – Darkness/Light – by
sculptor Erland K. Madsen in etched copper and brass.
Just outside the town is Jyllands ParkZoo
– a zoo with around 300 animals, especially
for the little ones – with lots of play opportunities and petting animals – there is free
parking and opportunities for play and fun.
Open from Easter to September/October.
Momhøje Nature Center is also located
close to Videbæk in a former brown coal
mining area – 80 hectares/120 soccer
fields – playground, bonfire barn, barbecue
areas, trails, mountain bike tracks, shelters
– tent site – exhibition and recreation area.
It takes time and effort but offers opportunities for fun and relaxation.
