One of the towns in West Jutland that promotes art. Here you find the West Jutland
Art Pavilion – built in 2012 and expanded in
2017 – which houses the complete works of
Danish painter and graphic artist Arne Haugen
Sørensen, some in permanent exhibition,
along with other exhibitions. The museum was
designed by Henning Larsen Architects, who
also designed the Opera House in Copenhagen – Siemens and Spiegel headquarters in
Munich and Hamburg, respectively – Kiruna
City Hall – The Norwegian Radium Hospital,
Oslo – Harpa Concert Hall in Reykjavik, Iceland,
and others in England, Saudi Arabia, Hong
Kong, Australia, China, France, and the United
States. Both the buildings and the exhibitions
are worth visiting.
