During the season, the population rises to 5-10
thousand, and there is a tradition of activities:
a sandpit with music and singing, morning
gymnastics on the beach in the summer, a
sand sculpture festival with huge figures made
by international artists, a water park, bowling
(at Lalandia), shops, souvenirs, ice cream, restaurants, and so many other things. Here, life is
good – but service is still paramount.
The direct route to the sea and the beach runs
through the middle of town, and a handicap-accessible descent has been established
on the west side of the dunes. However, it may
be blocked by sand after very windy weather.
In such cases, you can sit at the top with something tasty to eat or drink and enjoy the view.
