The water gardens next to the Green
Corridor rethinks an old water tank from
a former waterworks, which lay hidden
under the grass down by the stream. The
sand pad with white sand and water, is the
gift for every child: being able to play in
sand and splash in water. The Refuge with
benches and reflecting pools between undulating hedges make room for reflection
and conversation.
The Skjern River is Denmark’s only river
delta. This has left its mark on the area,
which is world-famous among anglers for
the very special Skjern River salmon.
