There may be several towns with a park lake,
but it is only in Videbæk that they have a
world class art museum in the middle of that
park.
Because in Videbæk, you’ll find West Jutland’s
Art Pavilion and the addition Arne Haugen
Sørensen’s Museum; an art museum which,
both inside and outside, features many works of
art. These buildings were designed by Henning
Larsen’s design office. In 2012 the first part of
this structure opened and in 2017 the twin building was added.
The exhibitions change in West Jutland’s Art
Pavilion, but Arne Haugen Sørensen’s Museum exhibits works by this Danish artist all
year round. There is also a café and interesting
events, besides the exhibitions.
